A New Day

Well, last night Olivia did sleep pretty well!!! She only woke up once and fell back to sleep fairly quickly. But she did decide to get up at 6:30 this morning and just wanted to play. Too bad I didn't want to get up until 8am. I finally got her to settle down at 7:30 so I slept for an extra half hour. But that probably made me more tired than if I would have just started my day. lol.

Anyway, today I was able to be home with her for the night starting at 2, so I started teaching her to go to the bathroom outside. I've been taking her out every day, but she wouldn't even sniff the ground to do anything haha. But today was successful!!! It also helped that I opened a new can of food and she LOVES it, so she's been eating a lot more.

Aside from the training aspect of our day, one of my new roommates came over to meet her!! =] Miss Olivia had fun playing and I can't wait for her to meet the other roommates! But this is a picture of what happened after Beth left.

Phew! Someone was wiped out. But not to worry. She came around in a little bit. (Sorry that she kind of blends in! Haha)

She learned that I would throw her toy for her even though I was sitting on my bed if she just brought it next to me. Little Miss Smarty Pants =]

Olivia is the sweetest little puppy, and I am so proud of her for catching on to things so fast! =]
