10 weeks old!

Miss Olivia is officially 10 weeks old today!! Believe it or not, I do notice a difference in her from day to day. I feel like she is growing up so fast! She's starting to have more of a personality, and get on a routine. For example, today I brushed her and she actually stood there and let me (kinda...haha). For the last two days she has battled me to death over it. haha. She also has learned where her food and water is, and she is eating more. =] But her kissing has not diminished in the least bit. For any of you girls who are going to meet her this weekend...dont even bother wearing makeup because she will lick it right off. haha. =]

Anyway, I decided to attempt to take a picture of her next to my shoe so you could get some sort of reference of how big she is. She was playing with her toy, so shes kind of extending her legs making her look longer. But when shes calmer Ill talk another one. Also, I realize that I have big feet. But I wear a size 10, and if shes not stretching out her legs like that, she is about the same size as my shoe haha.

Even though she is the bestest puppy in the entire world and I love her to death, I will be honest and say that she has one issue at the moment. Maybe you have noticed that every night I have said that I hope tonight is the night that she actually sleeps through the night. Well, she has this crying/screaming thing that she does when she is lonely and wants me to get her out of her cage. And its not this little cry that you can sleep through. No way. You can walk out the front door, and close the door behind you....and you will still hear her. She may be tiny, but she has some STRONG vocal chords/lungs. But i have been dedicated to fixing this. I've tried every trick in the book, including putting my clothes in there and stuffed animals and a ticking clock. But..nothing. Last night she woke me up every 2 hours. (which is actually an improvement than previous nights.)

I really think I fixed it this time though.

I will post an update tomorrow. But Oli and I went to Petsmart (again) and I got puppy training treats. She LOVES them. She went bonkers. Seriously. And she only gets them in her cage. So now she runs in her cage sniffing SO HARD looking for those treats. hahaha. I also put a blanket over the cage so she cant see me in the morning. Currently, she is sleeping.

Wait..did you get that???

SLEEPING!!!!!!! Lets see how long this lasts. But it is absolutely silent in my room. I'm in shock. But I really think this worked. =]

Anyway, While at Petsmart, Olivia picked out this toy (I know, I kinda ruined it with the picture before. But its still cute =]) She thinks she's strong. lol

Then later, she wanted to play with the beaver that Grandma and Grandpa got her. But she was being so funny about it. I was sitting on the floor with her, and on my right was a a pile of clothes, and on my left was a blanket that I had in her cage. So she would run from here:

And back again. Over and over and over again. Haha. I have a really funny video of it, but I don't know how to post videos on here yet. Nor do I feel like figuring it out atm. But when I do, ill post it. =]

Anyway, I'm going to get some sleep while I still can =]
