Sundays

Today Olivia and I laid on my bed for a few most of the day while I wrote my paper. She was obviously exhausted from all the excitement of seeing Stephen yesterday, so she spent the majority of the day sleeping. She also has found a new spot to sleep: on top of my pillows...regardless if I'm sleeping on them or not.
But she kept moving around, and at some point, ended up in this position:
When I got home from work, she had a TON of energy because she had slept all day, so she was getting into basically everything. This is her attempting to pull the towel that she lays on, by the tag. I have no idea why. and I'm sorry that this picture is blurry, but shes crazy! haha =]
Once that towel was no longer exciting, she started playing under this one. She was jumping all over the place like a crazy women. This is just an action shot. haha. But she kept running under the towel, then spazzing out and running back out haha
And then, even though I thought it would never happen, she finally passed out for the night. She had SO much energy earlier that she was running in circles all around my room while I was trying to write by paper. And then she needed me to throw her toy for her about 50 times. It's so funny how she gets these random spurts of energy, and then has to sleep for hours in order to make up for it.  =]

Stephen's Visit

Today, Stephen came up to visit! Him and Olivia got to hang out for a bit. They even wore matching colors! =]
How cute! This is another cute picture of her and her frog. She is now big enough to drag it out of her bed, and loves to cuddle and play with it =]
What a baby! =]

Routine

Olivia and I have come to have our own little routine. Well, its more like she has her own routine, and I have to follow it =]

So in the mornings, my alarm goes off multiple times, and she wakes up, gives me this look and then goes back to looking like this:
I cannot wake her up in the morning. I have to pick her up and put her on the floor. Then she just stretches and sits in that position for a few minutes until she feels like moving. Then she sees this toy, and run to grab it. Its the same toy every morning, and its the only time that she will play with it. (I know, shes a weirdo)
Then after that, she eats breakfast while I get ready for class. When I get home from class, she gets SO excited and won't leave me alone. We then have lunch, and I sit down to do homework. By now, she is worn out from being so excited that I got home. So she looks like this next to me:
Then after a little nap, she gets a burst of energy, and will bring her toy up to the edge of my bed over and over so that I will throw it for her.
Then she goes back to sleep.
Then we have dinner and hang out some more. On Fridays, this is when we take our shower! Today she decided that she didn't want to wait for me to get the towel when I opened the shower door, so she ran out and totally drenched my bathroom floor. It was a mess! But now she is all dry and clean =]
Now she is taking a nap because she is exhausted from her shower! This nap may turn into her sleep for the night. We are both pretty tired today.

So there you have it! That is a normal day for us! =] Unfortunately..she gets to sleep a lot more than I do!

Stink

Stink is what I call Olivia. It is her nickname that I have given to her. And although you may think she is adorable (which she is!) she is also the biggest stinker ever.

She also answers to stinker and stinky. Because she is a little troublemaker and she knows it! This is a picture of her and my keys.
The last time I checked, I don't keep my keys in the bathroom, Stink! (See how nicely that flows?) She loves to hid my keys from me all of the time! Today she thought the bathroom was a good idea. But I found them! haha.

She definitely is always keeping me entertained! =] You have to love her.

Another Lazy Day

Today was a lazy day for Miss Olivia. I wasn't gone for too much of the day, but she was exhausted all day! Probably because I kept waking her up to play with me. lol. But thats a good thing, because at least she will sleep through the night!
Even though I was able to wake her up and make her play with me, she eventually gave up and assumed this position:
Obviously it was more comfortable to have her legs hang out, rather than lay across the other side. Silly dog.

Then later I made her come out of there and I put her on my bed. She decided that stretching out to make herself look as long as possible was the most comfortable way to sleep.

Oh yeah. I put the beaver next to her to show the resemblance. haha. She's gotten a lot bigger in the 2.5 weeks that I have had her! I will have to do another flip flop shot =]

12 Weeks Today

Ok, so today I really didn't know what I was going to blog about because nothing exciting happened. To make up for that, I took these cute pictures of her playing in my bed =]

But then, just as I was getting ready for bed, she made the perfect photo op.
That is my scale that she is sitting on. She is so tiny that she doesn't even make it turn on!!! Haha. Yesterday at the vet, she weighed in at 3.5 pounds! She has gained almost a pound since I got her. But shes still super tiny =] I want her to stay this size forever!

Vet Today!

So today, Olivia and I went to the vet for the first time. I was really nervous! I thought she was going to be terrified, but she actually handled it very well! The doctor was really nice, and it didn't take very long. Olivia didn't even cry or anything when they gave her the shot. I was shocked.

This is a picture of her sitting on my lap in the waiting room.

She was a little unsure, but was comfy in my arms =] Once we got home, she ate some dinner, and passed out for a few hours!

She's so cute when she's sleeping!

Earlier on in the day, Olivia and I were hanging out, and I was rubbing her belly. She gets so peaceful when I do that, that I had to take some pictures!

What a baby =]

Tina

So the only thing that happened today (with my pets) that was exciting, was that Tina got out. Tina is a my gerbil, and I really think that she is gone for good. I havent been able to find her all day. But miss Olivia heard her in the pantry and let me know about it. Even though we are sad and frustrated because we can't find him, I took this picture. Its just a generic picture, but it was after our moment of losing TIna.
Shes just too cute =]

Anyway, since I worked all day, I'm sorry....but I just don't have any other stories! =/ Tomorrow will be different though! We are going to our first vet visit together! =]

Crazy Dog

So after Rachel and Victoria left today, Olivia passed out for a few hours. And she slept through the night. She was really exhausted haha.

But adorable! =]

Later on, she woke up and started playing with me for a bit. I have been trying to get a picture of this for the longest time, but it is next to impossible! She moves so much. But she looks so funny that I was persistent. Her ears flop back and she looks like a totally different animal. lol

She is so silly! =] I hope you like the pictures! I'm sorry that some are a little blurry. But it was the best that I could do.

Our Two Week Anniversary!

Olivia has now been my baby for exactly 2 weeks!!! How exciting! =]

To celebrate, we took a shower and got all pretty for Victoria and Rachel to come up! Once they got here, Olivia had a lot of fun playing with them. She had so much fun, that she ended up sleeping in her cage for a bit while we hung out! That was a miracle.

Anyway, Olivia's little hair is starting to grow out! Its crazy. As some of you know, at home we keep our dog's front hair in a topknot. Olivia is going to be having a topknot of her own in the not-to-distant future. Today we attempted it, and this is what she looked like!

How cute is that?!?! I can't wait for it to stay like that for more than a few minutes =]

Miss Troublemaker

Today, we had a fairly uneventful day. But I wanted to share with you how much of a little trouble maker she is becoming. Not only does she drag my stuff around the room, and hide my Genghis shirt in her cage (I think she knew I had to work today haha), but she also pulls the blanket into her cage.

Now what I mean by this, is that I put a blanket on her cage when I leave, but when i come home, she has pulled it through different holes to try to see out. I finally got the hint and I'm not putting it up there anymore, but this is what it looked like when I got home today:
When I left for class this morning, I put it on only the back half so maybe she wouldn't pull it through, but that didn't work.

She is also a troublemaker in other ways. Like trying to chase and bite my figures while im typing. Or sitting on my computer. Or jumping on my hand and trying to attack it. Or trying to take my thumb with her as she walks away. She is always getting into something! haha. But that is why I love her =]

Giraffe!

Today, Olivia and I went to Petsmart:
Haha. I promise I didn't drive with her like that. But I put her up there once we were done shopping and she wouldn't stop panting. It must have been hot!
While we were at Petsmart, I stumbled upon a Giraffe, which I OF COURSE had to buy for her! She's my baby giraffe and now she has her own baby giraffe!

She's too cute =]
But, after too much playing, she passed out for a while.
As you can see her, that giraffe is a little big for her. haha
I had fun posing her with the giraffe while she was sleeping. haha
That was all that was exciting today! Aside from the fact that she ate a big dinner and got a huge food baby! It was too hard to take a picture of, but it was hilarious! Oh, and the fact that keeps trying to redecorate her bed and hide my things from me and pull my hair/walk on my computer when I'm not paying full attention to her. haha. She is too funny =]

11 Weeks Old!

Today, Olivia turned 11 weeks old! I can't believe it!

On this very special day, she learned a new trick. She has been trying to figure it out for the past few days, but has been unsuccessful, especially because Mommy has been discouraging it.

What's the trick? Dragging my stuff across the floor.
Like Keys:
Here we are dragging them backwards

"I'm not doing anything wrong Mommy!"
Or my flyer of coupons:
I actually have a hilarious video of her dragging this around. When I have the time, I will upload all of the videos I have to YouTube so you can see how funny she is.

She is seriously just way too cute! This picture is her the sea of pink (which is my bed). She was worn out from trying to sneak my stuff away all day long!
I love her!! =]

Lazy Day

Today Olivia and I enjoyed most of our day doing this:

It was very nice to lay around together for the majority of the day. Although I didn't get to sleep, I throughly enjoyed her company while I was doing stuff on my computer. =] When she did decided to get up once or twice, she looked exactly like this:
"Mommy, will you please throw my toy?"
How could you say no to that face? And it's definitely worth throwing the toy just to see her bring it back. She carries the little purse by the handle. =]

Worn Out

Well today was not nearly as exciting as these past few days. Olivia had so much fun playing with Stella all weekend and I can't wait for them to play together again! They were way too cute together =] But today we just drove back to Gainesville and attempted to catch up on sleep. (Or at least thats what I'm planning on. haha)

First I thought I would share something fairly unique about my puppy. She loves to sit on my leg. She will try to climb up just about anything to sit on only one of my legs. Now, she IS tiny. But she has a hard time balancing on my leg because she JUST fits. Right now, I think this is super cute and I love when she does it. But I am just praying that as she gets bigger, she decides she would rather sit on my lap. Otherwise my leg may fall off, or she will get a concussion from falling off so much. haha

This picture is from right after she ate dinner and was watching me eat mine. Notice how disgusting her face gets from that disgusting dog food lol.

Now back to out long weekend. I was planning on going to bed early tonight, but I figured Olivia wouldn't let me. I was wrong. She climbed in her pen and assumed this position.
Paw hanging out, eyes shut, head on froggy leg. It is impossible to not love her. She is just too adorable =]

We are friends now!

Today Olivia and Stella learned how to play together!! It was way too cute to watch! I would throw the toy for them, and the both went running for it...but Stella would let Olivia get it, and she would chase her as she ran back. For some time they were running around the house and it was quite comical to watch!
These are just a couple pictures of them playing fetch. It was extremely difficult to take a picture, but I managed to get these! =]

Stella is such a good sharer! =]

Aside from playing with Stella, Olivia got to bond some more with my parents and Stephen as well. It's nice to see her getting to be comfortable around other people. But at the end of the day, she still always wants her Mommy =] She is my baby and she knows it!

Houston, We have a...

Wet Dog!!! I know, this wasn't Miss Olivia's first bath, but this is the first one that I could actually get a picture of her in. She actually walked right in the shower with me. It was crazy. I think she regretted her decision almost immediately haha.
This is her all wrapped up afterwards

And then again while she was waiting for me to dry her off. She shook a few times so she doesn't look AS MUCH like a rat as she did when she was soaked. But I love her expression.

And here is after i used the blow dryer on her. She looks like something blew up in her face.

Finally...the aftermath.

Phew. Already exhausted and it wasn't even 10 am yet! Little did she know what she had in store for the day.

Once I got home from class, we packed up the car and drove home! Little Olivia got to meet Oscar, Lizzie, Stella and Sophie along with seeing my parents again! It went pretty well. Stella was a little TOO excited for Olivia (and her toys) and it scared her a bit, but Lizzie wagged her tail at her. I'm sure they will get used to each other pretty quickly. The others barely even noticed she was there. This picture is of their first few minutes together. Stella and Lizzie came to smell her, then backed up to stare her down for a bit.

It was funny because my dad was sitting on the floor too, and his baby was sitting by him, and mine by me. Neither really wanted to move from their comfort zone for too long.

Then after all of that excitement, including my mom coming home from work and playing with her again, Olivia slept in the car while we drove to the Myslicki Household to meet the other side of the family. =] Of course, they all loved her, and she loved them. Once we were all done playing, she got a chance to cuddle up with Stephen =] So this is obviously a picture of two things I love the most!

And to end the night, we had to take a family photo! Even though its not a very good one, I have to post it anyway =] We will take a less awkward family photo tomorrow!
