Our Wonderful Wednesday!

Today Olivia and I had a lot of fun playing. She gets so excited when I throw her toy for her! It's just way too entertaining. Later on in the day, my roommate Jenny was creating obstacles for her while she chased after the ball. It was so funny to see her try to jump over her legs.

Olivia is getting so big now! This is a picture of her compared to my shoe again.

She is also having a little bit of trouble deciding what she wants to do at times. Sometimes its just that she can't figure out which toy she would rather play with, but today, it was whether she should eat of play. So she attempted to do both.

17 Weeks Old!

Today Olivia is 17 weeks old! It's hard to believe that I've had her since she was 9 weeks old! It seems like I got her just yesterday =]

Olivia and I mostly laid around all day, and played a little here and there. We are both still adjusting back to normal life from this weekend.

She is just too cute!

Once she decided that she wanted to start playing, she couldnt decide which toy to play with. She ended up just laying down with her pile of toys.

I love her so much! =]

Long time no..blog

So this weekend was one interesting weekend! Olivia and I were away from each other for the first time ever! I was a little nervous about the whole situation, and kept worrying about how she was doing....but in the end, she was fine! She got to sleep in Stella's cage and they probably had a super fun weekend together!

Although they had fun, when I got home, Olivia was SOOO excited to see me. She would not stop giving me kisses. And she is back to crying when I walk away. Hopefully she gets back to normal soon! I promised her that I wouldn't leave her for that long for awhile.

Now that the both of us are back in Gainesville, we have had fun playing and snuggling all day. She is such a cutie! =]

Besties

The best friends have been reunited! Since I am leaving for Bermuda in the morning, I brought Olivia with me to play with Stella for the weekend. She is going to have a lot of fun! But this also means that there will be no more posts for a few days.

Anyway, the two best friends had soooo much fun playing with the soccer ball that I brought home! Stella was really interested in how Olivia played with the ball.

The Forgotten Post

Oops! Last night I 100% forgot to write my blog post! I knew what I wanted to write all day, but somehow it completely escaped my mind. But that's ok. Because today we will get two!

Yesterday, Olivia slept while I went to class, and by the time I got home, she was in some serious need of some play time. So that is what we did for a few...hours. Sometimes she is good at entertaining herself, but definitely not always.

She has also basically learned how to jump up onto the bed, and uses that to her advantage when she wants to play and mommy is trying to do something else. She also learns that she cannot take a running start on my bed to jump off of it, otherwise she will go flying through the air too high and not be able to make a safe landing.

On a totally different note, I took this picture of her not only so that you can see that I'm not lying about her weight, but to show that the scale finally picks her up!! I'm so excited! She is getting so big, so fast!

16 Weeks Old!

Today Olivia turned 16 weeks old! To celebrate her big day...we went to the vet. She did great! Since we waited an extra week to go, she was old enough to get her Rabies shot. Its amazing how fast time flies by. But she only has one more set of puppy shots to do, and shes done for a year!

Amazingly, we found out that she is only 4.4 pounds. I feel like she should be a bit bigger by this point, but she is still a baby! =]

Once we got home from the vet, Olivia slept forever. Those shots really knocked her out for awhile.

 Once I got home from work, she was ready to play. She had enough sleep, and just wanted me to throw her soccer ball for her a billion times.

First day of Class

Olivia survived my first day of classes! I think I was more worried about how she would do, rather than how my classes would go. But she did great! (And, I really like my classes =]) She is learning from her mommy how to sleep all day. Today I had to wake up at 7 15. She really did not want to get up. I put her on the floor to try to wake her up so that I could feed her, and she ended up staring at me for almost five minutes, before walking into her cage and falling asleep. When I left, I just shut the cage door, and she barely even noticed!! I just hope every day works like that.

Later on we (of course) played. A lot. Since I felt bad for leaving her all morning, I made it up to her during the rest of the day. She is so incredibly cute, and definitely the best puppy ever!

She likes to play with all of her toys, and does not really favor one of the other (minus her soccer ball), but I just happened to get a picture of her with the lion. She is starting to have too many toys that I have to hide some otherwise I find them all over the apartment!

Fun Day!

Today, Olivia and I played.....a lot!! It seems to be a pattern in our life. But she is just so cute when she chases after her ball. And she's even cuter when she gets worn out and falls into a deep sleep!

But it has become official. Her hair is now too long to wear down. From now on, she will have a topknot! I need to go buy her some bows now!!!! Her little topknot is just the cutest thing, and it makes her face look so pretty! =]

Exploring

Today Olivia was able to explore some new places!! Now that Stephen has moved into his apartment, we took a little walk to his place. She was also able to sniff out his apartment, and Stephen even got her a new little lion toy to play with! =] She loves it!!

But earlier in the day, she was being lazy..as always. Normally when I get out of bed, she immediately wants to follow me. But today, she decided that she would rather sleep.

Once she finally got out of bed, we played with her soccer ball for awhile. Stephen's mom even came over to play with her! Olivia has started a new habit though. Once she goes and gets the ball, she wants to climb up something and chew on the ball from up there. Since I haven't exactly unpacked yet, she decided on top of my clothes was the best place for this to happen.

All in all, she had a really fun day! Now, she is exhausted from playing with her soccer ball so much. She decided that she didn't want to wait for me to go to bed, so instead, she climbed in her cage. We will see how long that lasts!

Yet Another Lazy Day

Today, Olivia and I spent most of the day laying around and doing nothing. She is such a bad influence on me! It's really hard to want to get out of bed when she looks like this:

 Later on in the day, she decided that she had saved up enough energy and it was time to use all of it. We played with almost all of her toys before the end of the night.

Luckily now she is calming down and I can finally get some sleep again! =]

Recovering

Olivia has taken the majority of today to recover from all of the excitement of the past week and a half. She slept almost all day. When she wasn't sleeping, she was playing with this new soccer ball that I got for her! She is so cute!

She also got to bond with some of her new roommates! I know she is going to be so happy here =] Even though she misses her Stella, she will adjust quickly.

Grandma's Birthday!

So, today was Grandma's Birthday!! Olivia and I spent a good portion of the day at home, hanging out. Which meant plenty of time for Olivia and Stella to play with each other! It also meant there was plenty of time to play jungle and climb all around the couch.

But since it was Grandma's birthday, I had to wrap some presents! As we have previously figured out, Olivia really like cardboard rolls, like paper towel rolls or toilet paper rolls. Today I decided to give her the roll from the wrapping paper. It was hilarious. She was walking through the house holding it in her mouth, and running into things.

Later on in the day, my mom and I found the puppies like this:

They are now officially best friends! It is so cute! Sadly, Olivia won't be seeing her new best friend for a little while after tomorrow. I feel bad, but she gets to meet her new aunts this weekend! I just know she is going to love my new roommates!

At the end of the night, my family and I decided that she was just too dirty and really needed a bath before I brought her back to Gainesville. I let my dad do the honors of washing her in the sink rather than me struggling to wash her in the shower with me. She handled it really well! I'm so proud of her! =]

Although we had a very fun day, Olivia is now absolutely warn out. She is sound asleep on my bed, with her head under the pillow.

I seriously have the cutest puppy ever! =]

15 Weeks Old!

Olivia is getting so big so fast! I can't believe she is already 15 weeks old! She is around 4.5 pounds now, and her hair is long enough to go in a topknot. I just want her to stay the size that she is!

Luckily though, she is also growing into some things that she won't grow out of. Like barking in her sleep. She does it almost every night, and it is so funny! But even better than that, is snoring. Right now she is all curled up next to me, snoring as loud as she can. =]

I love when she lays on her back to sleep. It makes her look like a little teddy bear!!

Cutie Pie

First of all, this morning, my mom decided it was a good idea to put most of the dogs on my bed to sleep with me while I attempted to sleep in. It did not last very long, because they were too tempted to play together, but I did my best to get a picture of my baby girls =]

They are all so sweet!

Later on, I decided that it was a good idea to play with Olivia's hair again. It's finally long enough to go up in a topknot! =] She looks so funny (and adorable) with it in. At first she was trying really hard to pull it out with her paw, or even rub her face on the ground, but it didn't work. Eventually she got used to it, and it's still in her hair!

She is just way too cute! =]

Amusing

So today, when I got home, I was greeted by all four dogs! It was the first time that this happened since I got home =] It took me a little bit to be able to get a picture, but I feel as though this picture accurately portrays my dogs personalities.

First of all, I took this picture from a weird angle to get all of them in it. But look at Olivia and Stella. They are totally interested in what is going and, and sitting closest to me. Next, look at Oscar. He is obviously just wandering around, and has no idea that I am over here...not in the direction that he is looking. Then look at Lizzy. She is laying on the ground, not too interested, but interested enough to come over and see who came home. I was just impressed that they all managed to make it to the door to say hello!

After I got home, Olivia and Stella continued to play and play and play for basically the rest of the night, when they crashed. But while I was sitting on the couch at some point, I found the two of them taking a break, but Olivia was a bit more tired.

To me, it looks like Stella won. The baby is laying in the middle of three toys, and the only standing is Stella. lol. Olivia did have to wake up earlier this morning though, so she had to take a few extra naps in order to keep up. =]

Crazy Puppies

Every day seems to have the same basic story while I am at home. Olivia and Stella played, Sophie stood by and watched, Olivia terrorized the rest of the pet family, etc. Well today was no different! Olivia thinks that she is super tough and can beat up the pet family. She keeps trying to scare Sophie away by ferociously barking at her. But Sophie just looks at her like, "Get away from me, dog. You are on my territory." 

Today, Sophie decided to stand by and watch Olivia and Stella play together (a little closer than normal). This picture shows that she is definitely guarding her territory. And that obviously Oscar had no idea what was going on behind him. Poor guy. 

Later on, Olivia and Stella were playing again. They were really having way too much fun with that bone. This picture is just too funny to me. Stella looks like a crazy dog.

Friends

Olivia and Stella enjoyed playing together again today! They are so cute together! =] Olivia is finally really fitting into the family and really soaking in all of the attention.

Every day, the puppies pick a new favorite toy to play with. Today, they chose the pumpkin. It is so funny to watch Olivia walk around with a big pumpkin in her mouth. Stella still lets her have her toys all of the time though. Olivia is not as good of a sharer at Stella is, but they are making it work! =]

Olivia was trying really hard to be able to pull that toy out of my hand, and Stella was just watching, waiting to see if maybe I would throw it. haha

We are lazy!

Ok, this post is a little late tonight because we were watching Melanie win So You Think You Can Dance!!! YAY!! =] We were both very excited for her!

Anyway, I wanted to take a picture for you of what Olivia looks like when I wake up in the morning (or afternoon).

Seriously dog? It was about 12pm when I took that picture. She did not want to get up yet. I kept trying to get her to wake up, and she just kept moving away from me and passing out. haha. She is lazier than I am! =]

Once I got her to wake up though, we had a lot of fun playing. This picture is just cute.

Settling In

Today Olivia and I spent the majority of the day just hanging out and playing with the other pets. My cat, Sophie, is finally getting used to her being around. She's a little unsure, but this is progress:

Olivia and I also decided to play the piano. I was just going to play on my own, but she insisted that she sat on my lap while I played. It was working just fine until she stuck her head on the piano while I was playing.

She has to be in the middle of everything, 100% of the time. Since she is so cute, its acceptable! =]

14 Weeks old!

Today Olivia and I had some fun time with Stella. The two of them are like best friends. It is so cute! They play together so well. It takes the attention away from me, which is nice. I needed a break from playing with her constantly.

Well...not really. But it's nice for her to have a friend! =]

Anyway, they like to pounce at each other. It is so funny to watch!

They also like to share toys. Olivia is trying to teach Stella to grab on the other end and pull with her. But it's only sort of working. I was able to get this picture of it, but it's a little burry.

Our 1 Month Anniversary!

Today officially marks our 1 month of being mommy and baby! =] Too bad we spent most of the day unpacking and driving. But at the end of the day, Olivia had a blast playing with Stella. They are so cute together!!

These pictures today are from before we got home, so there are no Olivia and Stella pictures. Tomorrow there will be some though.

Moving Day

Today Olivia had a very exciting day. We got to pack up and move out of the old apartment. It was an all day affair. We woke up at 9:30 to pack, started moving at 6 and didn't finish getting everything into the apartment until 10:30. Now we are contemplating whether we should keep unpacking or just go to bed.

Olivia is used to getting a lot more sleep than we did last night. With that combined with all of the excitement of moving, she spent most of the day doing this:

 But later on she woke up and we were playing with her and packing/moving. At some point, Randy thought it would be a good idea to put her up on the shelf. haha. She was so unsure about being up there.

Anyway, tomorrow will be even more exciting. We are packing to go home, and finishing unpacking around here. And then going home for two weeks! So be prepared for two weeks of Olivia and Stella bonding stories! Who's excited!? =]

Packing

Today we spent the majority of the day packing and moving. It was really fun. But first we woke up looking like this:

Then we decided it was laundry day. So we played in the pile of sheets!

Now this picture is really funny, even though it is a tad blurry. Remember when she was too small to be able to pick you becky's old toy? Well she's not anymore! Check it out!

She is way too cute. Tomorrow we have a really exciting day though. We will be moving into our new place! =] I'm not sure if she is excited as I am. But she will be really happy there, I just know it! =]

Sleeeeeeep

After a long week of studying and working, Olivia and I made an executive decision that we could sleep in. At first, we were a little disappointed because we woke up at 9, but after 30 minutes of laying there, our eyes didn't see the light until almost 1pm. During that 30 minutes, I was able to capture these super cute pictures of her! =]
